<h1>Technical Account Manager/Consultant</h1> <br/><br/> some hands-on Javascript & JSON & client facing work <br/><br/> Global data cloud provider who offer a SaaS platform which enables their clients to manage customer profile data across regions and to eliminate security risks.<br/><br/> Manage a handful of big brand clients (global names), taking them through the journey of designing the solution around their needs and nurturing the client to become self sufficient in configuring and managing the platform<br/><br/> After full training on the product, shadowing a mentor and gently being introduced to tasks you will cover:<br/><br/> <ul> <li>Design of the architecture. Through workshops, understand the clients business and infrastructure, facilitate the design. Create structures and rules which take into account client goals for the use of Data and also regional requirements of the data.</li> <li>Assist hands-on with configuring and integrating Javascript/JSON API's. This might be a code review, answering a question, hands-on fix or escalate to the technical team</li> <li>create an open relationship with clients, if their is something they'd like the platform to do then you will be the catalyst to making it happen nurture the client to be self sufficient on the platform. hand holding, training, give them confidence to use the tools.</li> <li>maintain engagement with the client, even when they are self sufficient, keep communication channels open</li> <li>After 1 year within this role, you will take senior responsibility in the team and will help shape the team and ongoing strategy for progression. Hiring new members, process, mechanisms to keep clients engaged</li></ul> <br/><br/> <b>Flexible working:</b><br/><br/> UK head office is in the City. You can split time working from home (2-3 days from home) if that suits. Global HQ is in the US, you will spend 3-4 weeks in the US over the course of a year. Clients are located UK and Europe. Minimal time is spent on client site. Overall 1 week per month on client site. There is a client in France, so you must be prepared to hop on the Eurostar and stay over (maybe 1 night per month)<br/><br/> <b>Company growth:</b><br/><br/> Established client list and £80M of Private Equity Funding, within a growth sector with a couple of small players, 100+ employees. Growth potential is enormous. The efficiency of having a provider manage the 'in-point' of your data, if you are a global company, makes good financial sense and is good governance. Every time an incident where a companies customer data is compromised publicly, the importance of this service becomes a 'priority'<br/><br/> <b>Skills and experience required:</b><br/><br/> Technical background. Intermediate with Javascript (you can be a bit rusty, does not need to be current). JSON, Angular.js and programming language - all a bonus. HOWEVER, this is not a position which will challenge your tech skills - its not the right role for someone who wants to be a Javascript Ninja Client facing. Over the phone, via email or in person. Open, friendly, professional (not suited, just able to conduct yourself in the given environment) Commercially aware, capable of understanding process, able to conceptualise structures Enjoy working with people.<br/><br/><b> Your background:</b><br/><br/> The hiring manager does not have an image in mind. You could be a Director for a Web Agency/Technical Consultancy or a tech startup or an Account Manager or Consultant for a company offering a SaaS product or CRM application.
